Ancient Pu’erh Tea coins offer a wonderfully rich and distinctive tea experience, showcasing the deep, earthy character of traditional Pu’erh from Yunnan, China. Carefully fermented using time-honoured techniques, this remarkable tea develops a smooth, mellow complexity that reflects the rich heritage of Yunnan’s tea-making traditions. Crafted into convenient, perfectly portioned coins, each one slowly unfurls as it brews, releasing its characteristic depth and inviting aroma. A beautifully rounded and comforting tea that's perfect for those who enjoy exploring the more complex flavours of tea.
Alexis’s Tasting Notes: I particularly enjoy the deep, earthy richness of this Pu’erh. It opens with warm, woody notes reminiscent of a forest floor after rain, followed by hints of dark chocolate, damp autumn leaves and a subtle natural sweetness. There’s a wonderfully smooth, almost velvety quality to the liquor, with very little astringency. The finish is long, mellow and gently earthy, making this a particularly satisfying tea to savour over several infusions.
