Shipping policy

Shipping and Delivery Policy

At Tea Mountain, we aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible while ensuring that every order is packed carefully and accurately.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–3 working days of receipt.

Many orders are dispatched sooner, and orders placed before 12:00 noon (UK time) are often dispatched on the same working day. However, same-day dispatch cannot be guaranteed, particularly during busy periods, public holidays, promotional events, seasonal peaks or when we are attending exhibitions and markets.

Orders are not normally processed or dispatched on weekends or public holidays.

If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss alternative options, revised delivery times or a refund.

Shipping Charges

Shipping options and charges are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is taken.

Available shipping methods, delivery estimates and charges may vary depending on parcel weight, dimensions, destination and order value.

From time to time, Tea Mountain may offer promotional shipping rates or free shipping offers. Any such promotions will be clearly displayed at checkout where applicable.

United Kingdom Deliveries

We use Royal Mail Tracked services for the majority of UK deliveries and may occasionally use ParcelForce or other reputable courier services where appropriate.

Typical delivery times after dispatch are:

Service Estimated Delivery Time
Royal Mail Tracked 48 2–3 working days
ParcelForce 1–3 working days

These delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

International Deliveries

We ship to most countries worldwide.

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination, parcel weight and selected shipping method.

Delivery times vary depending on destination country, customs processing and local postal services.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that tea and food products may legally be imported into their destination country.

Tea Mountain cannot be held responsible for delays, refusals, seizures or destruction of goods by customs authorities due to local import restrictions or regulations.

Customs Duties and Import Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling charges or other fees imposed by authorities in the destination country.

These charges are outside Tea Mountain's control and are the responsibility of the customer.

Failure to pay such charges may result in delays, refusal of delivery or the parcel being returned to us. Any refunds relating to refused or returned shipments will be handled in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Tracking Information

Where a tracked shipping service is used, tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched.

It is the customer's responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address and to monitor any tracking information supplied by the carrier.

Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable period after dispatch, please contact us and we will investigate the matter with the carrier.

Royal Mail and courier services may occasionally experience delays that are outside our control, particularly during periods of industrial action, severe weather, public holidays or peak seasonal demand.

If your parcel arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and contact us as soon as possible with photographs of the damage.

Delivery Addresses

Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and accurate before placing your order.

Tea Mountain cannot accept responsibility for delays, losses or additional charges arising from incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer.
